J Bookwalter 2012 Columbia Valley Riesling offers trademark intense aromas of ripe apricots, tangerines, peaches, star fruit, caramelized lemons wrapped in a floral arrangement of honeysuckle and orange blossoms. The flavors are equally as bright with ripe and dried apricots, Bartlett pears, anise, lemons, grapefruits and tangerines. A lively nose with aromatics of citrus zest, stone fruit and almonds. The straight forward and clean palate introduces notes of tangerine, green apple and vanilla. The creamy finish extends the fruit flavors with a hint of light oak.

A blended white wine with Sauvignon Blanc dominating over 75% of the wine, this was one of the original malic-acid friendly white wines released from Washington State.
