Hors D' Oeuvres Shrimp And Basil Spring Roll Sweet Chili And Garlic Aioli With Scallion And Sesame Seed Wild Mushroom Tatrlet Pecorino Cheese, Leeks And Sherry
Bright pale yellow, with pungent aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry and lemongrass. This wine is surprisingly supple and ripe in the middle following the nose, but with firm acidity framing and intensifying the grapefruit, tropical fruit and lemongrass flavors and has a lovely purity and freshness. From a cool spot but Ed Sbragia says he picks this fruit ripe and includes 10% sauvignon musque. Enjoy with sushi, fried or grilled seafood, salads or a lemongrass marinated grilled chicken. Ratings: 90 Points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, & 86 Points, Wine Spectator

The 2009 Chardonnay Gamble Ranch shows gorgeous textural ripeness and fabulous overall balance in its expressive varietal fruit. This wine shows high-toned aromas of apricot, lime leaf, crème brulee, hazelnut and spicy oak. Round, silky and very fresh, with citrus flavors currently a bit overshadowed by butter and vanilla oak. This is a beautiful, lush Chardonnay that is fermented and aged in French oak barrels (100% new) with weekly lees stirring. All of the elements are nicely balanced from start to finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017. Ratings: 90 Points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, & 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Pasta Course Gnocchi, Chunky Pomodoro And Lamb Meatball Chevre Cheese, Fresh Basil And Pine Nuts
The 2009 Merlot Home Ranch is a Sonoma Dry Creek beauty that is a juicy, up-front wine. This unpretentious wine is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its vibrancy. Dark red cherries, plums, sweet spices and flowers emerge on the finish. The Merlot was aged in 50% new French oak barrels (100% new) and a dollop (4%) of Cabernet Franc was added to the final blend. This medium red has also been described as having aromas of raspberry, milk chocolate and graphite minerality. Dense, savory and energetic, with a restrained quality to the berry, chocolate and graphite flavors. A serious merlot with a classically dry finish. This is only the second merlot label Ed Sbragia has made in his long and illustrious career, following the Bancroft Ranch merlot he made for many years at Beringer. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017. Ratings: 91 Points International Wine Cellar, & 88 Points Robert Parker's The Wine

Meat Course Spice Grilled Pork Tenderloin Grilled Sweet Peppers And Roasted Red Grape And Cranberry Bbq
This very special Zinfandel was aged in new French oak for 20 months, to help highlight its quintessential Dry Creek Zinfandel characteristics, which include aromatics of brambly fruit, and intense blackberry, raspberry flavors. Subtle floral notes, brown sugar and spice are apparent mid palate as a wonderful depth of flavor leads to a juicy finish. Winemakers Notes - In 1956, we moved to what is now "Gino's Vineyard", a five-acre parcel in the rocky hillsides on the eastern bench of the valley. The vineyard was planted to Zinfandel about 52 years ago and produces quintessential Dry Creek Zin with brown/ginger spices and juicy raspberry and cherry fruit. The 2009 vintage of Gino's Vineyard Zinfandel scored 92 points with both Wine Advocate and Spectator and 93 points with Wine Enthusiast. With scores like this, the 2010 vintage appears to be a must buy. Ratings: Yet to be released. Dessert Course Blackberry And Pound Cake Finger Sandwich Espresso Mousse With Dark Chocolate Shavings And Carbernet Caramel
This brings a ton of juicy red currant, cassis, licorice, herbs, cocoa and mineral characteristics. It shows remarkable depth and concentration while getting nice lift from the underling acidity ending with a mineral-laced finish which is long and supple with lots of ripe fruit. After resting a month in seasoned French oak barrels; the wine was then transferred to new French oak barrels, where it aged for 24 months prior to bottling. This wine will be approachable early on but looks to have the stuff to last in cellar as well. 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Ed Sbragia describes Monte Rosso as "the grand cru vineyard of Sonoma County." Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024 According to Wine Advocate - The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyard hits the palate with juicy dark berries, grilled herbs, cedar and tobacco. There is lovely purity to the fruit backed up by pure, distinctive Monte Rosso tannins. A big, powerful finish rounds things out in style. This is a reference point Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon.
