Bright, fresh wine with bursting zippy freshness. This Riesling from the Zillah Ranch Vineyard in Rattlesnake Hills is as serious of a white wine as we can make in Columbia Valley. Structurally similar to Alsace in style, while maintaining new world fruit. The soils (Riverstone, limestone, sand and calcium) allow for a great amount of vibrancy.

The stunning 2019 Chardonnay from the famed LS Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills is a bright juxtaposition of classical Burgundy styles. On one hand, the wine is lean and have a fresh grip on the palate, on the other, it is soft and gentle with soft oak tones. The balance between these styles provides tension and textural intensity. Expect a palate that is juicy with crisp apples & citrus, while aromatically it offers a salty earth component as well.

No one had to twist our team’s arms to make a Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. Pinot is probably the varietal we all drink the most, which means we all have personal feelings regarding how our ideal bottle should taste. One thing we can all agree on, however, is that our ideal wine should be a pure expression of the vineyard where it’s grown. This means the fruit is meticulously cared for, the fermentation carried out naturally, and the wine is not overpowered by oak. A complex balance between fruit and earth, perfumed and floral, texturally exciting.

Our 2019 Petit Verdot comes a historic site alongside the Silverado Trail – the iconic Seavey Vineyard. The vineyard dates back to the late 1800’s and continues today producing excellent fruit. Our winemaker Marc decided to do a traditional fermentation for a portion of the wine in stainless, then a smaller fermentation in a Taransaud 500 liter puncheon for added texture and complexity. The Petit Verdot is dense, spiced, shows dark fruit, exotic spice, and precision in structure. This wine is drinking beautifully now, and will continue to develop and express more of its secondary nuances over the coming two decades.

Our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the stunning and revered Caldwell Vineyard, from vines planted in the 1980's. The site is in a collapsed volcano, with compressed ash and loam soil creating a structure and texture that is quite old world in style. The cooler Coombsville temperatures allow the wine to express more cool fruits and maintain a bright acid structure. This wine is exquisitely nuanced in aroma, with herbal spices, mixed berries, cocoa and peppers. On the palate it is vibrant in its youth, but will allow more of the nuance to shine through with time.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Clone 337 planted on Gravely Bale Loam soil; the NorthEast by SouthWest row orientation with modified VSP crossarms, provides perfect shading of the fruit to retain a purely Western Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon varietal verdancy, while still presenting a core of hedonistic dark black fruits. In order to help elevate the varietal spine, we selected barrels with less toasting, and ramped down the percentage of new oak in the final barrel selection in order to help push up the purity of fruit.
