Tornatore Etna Rosso Pietrarizzo 2019
Beef Course Falsomagro with Flank Steak, Prosciutto, Fingerling Potatoes and Broccolini
Varietal Composition: 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Nerello Cappuccio The estate wine showing the most medium or long-term potential, the Tornatore 2017 Etna Rosso Trimarchisa is Nerello Mascalese with a tiny touch of Nerello Cappuccio. Compared to the classic Etna Rosso from this same estate, this wine is richer and more fleshed out with wild berry, cassis and flinty notes of pencil shavings or campfire ash. The wine is well balanced, and it shows some dark hot-vintage intensity on all sides with dark ripeness, medium textural richness and good length. Some 18 months of oak aging has also added volume to this expression. James Suckling 94 points, Robert Parker 93 points, Wine Enthusiast 91 points.
Tornatore Etna Rosso Trimarchisa 2017

Varietal composition: 100% Carricante The Etna Bianco is born from the skillful vinification of the white grape vines Carricante, cultivated in volcanic soils with a high vocation and arranged in terraces at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, in the northern slope of the volcano. Straw yellow colored wine with light green shadow that offers mineral notes with menthol scents typical of high wines, green apple with primary aromas characteristic of the variety. James Suckling 91 points, Wine Spectator 91 points.
Tornatore Etna Bianco 2021
Chip Wine
Varietal Composition: 90% Nerello Mascalese, 10% Nerello Cappuccio A wine made from a careful selection of indigenous grape varieties of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from one of the very few parcels at Passopisciaro not covered by the lava flow of 1879. This Cru Vigna Vico, is an elegant wine with an extraordinary complexity. It expresses all of its potential from a unique and ancient terroir, Etna. Made with extremely old vines planted at the end of the 1800s—some of them ungrafted, this wine has aromas of eucalyptus, Mediterranean scrub, blue flower, wet stone and a whiff of French oak. Elegant, savory and focused, the palate offers juicy red cherry, vanilla and licorice alongside fine-grained tannins. It's balanced, with bright acidity. Wine Enthusiast 93 points.
