The Alta Vista’s Brut Nature is a Blanc de Blancs made 100% with Chardonnay grapes from the Albaneve estate vineyard in the Uco Valley. The winemakers combine Alta Vista's French sparkling wine heritage with Argentina's unique terroir. The wine is made in the Charmat method for a fresh, vibrant style. With no additional dosage, the wine features light yellow color and golden sparks with a fine and persistent perlage. The aromas are intense and fresh, revealing hints of white peach and fresh herbs. In mouth, it is harmonious, lively and fruity with a rich finish and persistency. This wine is an ideal pair with cheese and nuts. 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

The Montes Classic Chardonnay hails from some of the finest Chardonnay-growing sites in Chile's Casablanca and Curico Valleys. The Casablanca Valley contributes a cool climate expression of Chardonnay with fresh citrus and floral notes, while the warmer Curico Valley adds tropical components to the blend including pineapple, peaches, and apricots. The wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and 30% of the wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in French oak. The 2020 vintage will be remembered for its fresh white wines, with low alcohol but intense aromatic expression, vibrant natural acidity, and excellent ageing potential. Aromas of fresh fruit with clear papaya, mango and grapefruit followed by notes of vanilla and toast.

The 2019 “Terroir Selection” Malbec is made from a blend of five vineyards in Lujan de Cujo and Valle de Uco, each bringing different characteristics to the wine. Lujan de Cujo contributes elements of ripe, mouth filling fruit that is very long on the palate, while Valle de Uco supplies strength and young, primary fruit aromas and roundness in the mouth. “Terroir Selection” Malbec is 100% Malbec aged in French oak barrels (new, one- and two-year old) for 12 months and in bottle for 6 months. The delicate nose on this wine offers rosemary and red-berry aromas. It delivers concentrated cherry notes and layers of spice and dried herbs on the palate. Gentle hints of oak support rather than overtake. The wine has good acidity and a long finish. 93 points James Suckling; 92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

The 2018 Alta Vista “Alizarine” Malbec is made from a single vineyard. This remarkable vineyard is situated above 3,000 feet elevation in Luján de Cuyo. The soils of this terroir are very poor and permeable and are composed of silty clay loam with a layer of boulders 3-6 ft. deep. The wine from this vineyard is notable for its floral bouquet, good acidity and round, elegant tannins. The selection massale vines planted in 1927 are simple Guyot pruned and yield small, compact grape clusters. This rich Malbec has aromas of plum and black pepper and on the palate, there are hints of ripe blackberry and plum with a note of grilled bell pepper. The finish is long with dark chocolate notes in the aftertaste. 95 points James Suckling.

The 2019 Montes “Alpha” Cabernet Sauvignon is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot primarily sourced from Montes’ Finca Apalta Estate vineyard with some additions from their Marchigüe Estate vineyard. These two unique vineyards feature granite-rich soils in differing degrees of decomposition. The wine has a deep ruby-red color. The nose has a complex range of aromas, principally of ripe red and black fruit, such as strawberry, blueberry, and black plum. There are well-balanced notes of tobacco, leather, and toast, thanks to the ageing in barrel. There are also dairy notes similar to yogurt and toffee. On the palate the tannins are very smooth, while the wine shows balance, body, and a long finish well aligned with the aromas perceived on the nose. 91 points Vinous.

Chip Wine
The vineyards destined for Purple Angel are located in the Marchigüe and Apalta sectors of the Colchagua Valley. The soils are of granitic origin and vary in their clay content, amount of organic matter, depth, and especially in the types of stones of fluvial and glacial origin, which reflects the tremendous diversity of soils in our vineyards. The harvest in 2019 was exceptional. The wine is made from 92% Carmenère, 8% Petit Verdot. Thanks to the conditions of hydric stress between fruit set and veraison, the size of the grapes was limited, creating a good ratio of skin to pulp, producing fruit with extraordinary color, concentration, tannic richness, and very good aromas. The Carmenère grapes ripened slowly; winemakers were able to achieve the desired results thanks to a long, dry season in the Valley, ideal for this variety. The wine has aromas of fresh fruit such as blackberry, blueberry, red plum and ripe cherry followed by bakery notes as well as subtle spice, and pairs well with red meat, rosemary lamp chops, pork ribs, or cannello ni. 98 points James Suckling.

The 2019 Montes “Alpha” Chardonnay is 100% Chardonnay. The vineyards that produce grapes for this wine are located in the Aconcagua Costa region. The proximity of the vines to the Pacific Ocean and the pronounced influence of sea breezes provide ideal conditions for Chardonnay to ripen slowly and completely. The high variability in the soils, which range from sandy to clay-loam, lend this wine enormous complexity with tremendous cold-climate typicity, but with an impressive aromatic palate. The wine has notes of ripe tropical fruit including papaya and pineapple, together with notes of asparagus typical of the cool-climate area of the Aconcagua Valley coast. The 12 months in barrel lend very delicate toasted notes, together with a hint of vanilla and nuts. James Suckling 93 points; 91 points Vinous.
