The Bodega Garzón Albariño Reserva 2021 is made from 100% Albariño grapes. It is aged 3 to 6 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The wine is pale yellow with greenish reflections and is intense in the nose, with peach and citrus notes. The freshness and minerality mid-palate are superb, with remarkable acidity and a round, crisp finish. Excellent pairings for this wine are cod with cockles, citrus prawn salad, or traditional grilled seafood with a warm mango salad and beans. It is delightfully well suited to Asian and Peruvian cuisine, ceviche, or a fresh tuna salad. Wine and Spirits Magazine 92 points.

The Bodega Garzón Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2021 comes from carefully selected plots and is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The wine encompasses the most outstanding characteristics of Garzo?n's terroir. Its elegance, freshness and marked minerality are just some of the characteristics which define this great wine. It has a greenish yellow color, and the nose presents aromas of white flowers with great fruit intensity. In the mouth it is fresh and vibrant, emphasizing its mineral rich and saline notes. This wine is ideal for consumption with seafood dishes, spicy food and several cheeses, such as ricotta, brie, camembert, feta and goat’s cheese. It is an excellent appetizer and is ideal as a companion for Greek and Armenian cuisine, or a simple chicken Caesar salad.

The Bodega Garzón Marselan Reserva 2019 has a deep red color and is made from 100% Marselan grapes. The wine is fermented in concrete tanks then is aged 6-12 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. The Marselan Reserve has a powerful aroma combining red fruit, mineral, mint and eucalyptus notes. It has a soft palate with an intense and long finish. This wine has a great personality and displays a strong expression of ripe red fruits with mineral notes. This wine is the ideal companion for roasted meats with Provençal vegetables or pork stews with potatoes and beans. Strong cheeses with intense aromas also make an excellent pairing. Bodega Garzón Marselan Reserva 2019
Lamb Course Sage Marinated Lamb Loin with Roasted Carrots, Sweet Pearl Onion, Celery Root Puree and Roasted Garlic Sauce
The Bodega Garzón Tannat Reserva 2020 has a deep purple in color, and fresh aromas reminiscent of red and black fruits such as plums and raspberries on a spice-flavored aroma. It has a great personality in mouth. Its ripe tannins and its minerality make it a terroir wine of great identity. It is made from 100% Tannat. Fermentation took place in concrete tanks, and it was aged 6-12 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. Roasted game meats are the ideal pairing for this Tannat. The most traditional combination is slowly cooked leg of lamb flavored with sage, mint, garlic and olive oil. It also pairs beautifully with blue cheese and toasted walnuts. The Bodega Garzón Pinot Noir Rosé 2020 was made from a careful selection of Pinot Noir grapes, this Rosé wine presents an elegant pale pink color. The nose is intense and fruity, with aromas reminiscent of red fruits and wildflowers. Its mouth is well balanced, with an excellent development. Its strong acidity and minerality make it an ideal wine to enjoy in marine climates. Fermentation was in steel and cement tanks followed by 3 to 6 months in stainless steel. This fresh rosé wine is a perfect companion for Mediterranean food, tapas, sushi, salmon, and roasted fish. It is an ideal pairing for deserts with chocolate and cherry flavors. Enjoy it cold.
Bodega Garzón Pinot Noir Rosé 2020
Chip Wine
The 2018 Bodega Garzón Balasto is an exceptional wine. The ballast soil at Bodega Garzón is formed of decomposed granite, which has excellent drainage and minerality. It is ideal for providing the complexity, energy and vibrancy we wish to give to this iconic Uruguayan wine. The aroma presents notes of fresh red and black fruit, with complex and elegant spices. In the palate, the tannins are juicy and vibrant, with the energy and vitality associated with an excellent texture and a long finish. The wine is 40% Tannat, 34% Cabernet Franc, 18% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot and 3% Marselan. Fermentation was in cement tanks then the wine was aged for 20 months in untoasted French oak barrels. James Suckling awarded this wine 96 points.
