Walla Walla Vintners 2021 Columbia Valley Sauvignon Blanc is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are from the McNary Vineyard located on the right bank of the mighty Columbia River. It is an ideal site with unique geology and terroir. There was a long, cool fermentation of whole clusters in stainless steel. The result is an exciting new release that is highlighted with lemongrass and honeydew on the nose. Flavors of gooseberry, passionfruit, and peach are woven together with juicy grapefruit acidity.

The Walla Walla Vintners 2019 Cabernet Franc is 90% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fermentation was in open top stainless-steel tanks for 18 days on skins. Then the wine spent 18 months in barrels with 20% new French oak and 10% new American oak. The wine has lovely aromas of dried herb, scorched earth, ripe raspberry, crushed dried leaves and anise. It offers lots of chocolatey black fruits, sagebrush, incense and toasted spices as well as a rich, mouth-filling, opulent style on the palate. Wine Enthusiast 92 Points.
Walla Walla Vintners Cabernet Franc 2019
Pasta Course Four Cheese Ravioli with Caramelized Wild Mushrooms and Creamy Garlic Sauce
Walla Walla Vintners 2019 Columbia Valley Sangiovese is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were selected from multiple vineyards including Cut Bank Estate, Sagemoor, Los Oidios, Seven Hills, Windrow and Shaw. The complex fermentation process lasted 20 days on skins. The wine was aged for 16 months in 10% new French oak. The final result was a wine with incredibly fresh aromas of red raspberry, red cherry, tilled earth funk and some red rose essence. Medium bodied, full of acidity and present tannins which support the red-fruit driven core. International Wine Report 91 Points.

Walla Walla Vintners 2019 Merlot is 86% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The grapes came from multiple vineyards the Walla Walla valley. After fermentation the wine was aged for 18 months in 40%new French oak and 10% new American oak. On the nose there are hints of dried herbs and a dusting of cocoa powder falls upon the core of dark fruits. The palate is fresh and linear with good structure and tension. Ripe dark currants mingle with blackberry compote, chocolate cake and minerals on the palate. Wine Enthusiast #88 Top 100 Wines of 2021, Editors Choice, 92 Points.
Walla Walla Vintners Merlot 2019

The grapes for the 2019 Walla Walla Red were hand-picked from select vineyards, but the names are classified! The composition is 42% Syrah, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc. After fermentation in open top stainless-steel bins the wine was aged for 18 months in 5% new French and American oak. The aromas offer notes of roasted coffee bean and chocolate along with fresh herbs. The creamy feeling chocolate and cherry flavors show the restraint of the vintage, with barrel tannins backing it all up. There's a lot of enjoyment to be had. Give it some time or decant. Wine Enthusiast 90 Points.
Walla Walla Red 2019
Chip Wine
A blend of 50% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah, the 2018 Vottavo Cut Bank Estate Vineyard is instantly impressive in the glass with aromas of dark cherry, plum compote, raw cocoa and elegant baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, the blend has a juicy essence to the core of the fruit that displays a soft mineral tension with the delightful oak essences of vanilla, cardamom and sweet cinnamon. The wine concludes with a balanced expression that makes for a gratifying drinking experience, begging me back for a second and third sip. The wine spent just under two years in 40% new French oak. This bottling may be one of the best Sangiovese blends in Walla Walla. Robert Parker 93 Points.
