The Ceretto Blangé is an excellent example of the expression of the native Arneis grape. It is a pleasant medium-bodied white, fresh and fragrant. The appearance has a bright straw yellow color. The nose is mineral and intensely fruity, with clear hints of ripe pear and green apple. In the mouth it is fragrant, savory, fresh and with a persistent finish. Ideal in combination with fish dishes and appetizers, risotto with vegetables, savory pies.

The 2020 Terras Gauda O Rosal is an exemplary bottling of a truly stellar Spanish white wine. It is full-bodied with soft acidity, lively on the palate and has an incredibly long finish. Predominant aromas of mandarin, orange peel and ripe melon intermingle with subtle minerality and notes of orange blossom. The 2020 vintage in particular exhibits an impressively powerful structure for a Galician white wine, filling the palate with a voluminous, velvety mouth feel. At once complex and easy to drink.

The 2015 Allende Rioja Red has an intense cherry color with purple edges; this wine contains powerful fruit aromas of blackberry, cranberry and other forest fruits, coupled with perfectly integrated notes of oak, cedar and tobacco. On the palate this wine is serious but lively, with great balance that combines fresh fruit and elegant structure, to ensure excellent ageing potential. A vintage known for wines of great ageability, with exceptional dark-fruit aromas and pronounced tannins, the 2015 Allende Red is ready to drink now or age another 10 years in bottle.

Dessert Course Devil’s Chocolate Cake with Berries and Barolo Whipped Cream
The classic 2016 Ceretto Barolo offers dark intensity with great aromatic detailing. Fruit and some floral notes are followed by ferrous notes and a good amount of powdered licorice. The aromas are delicate and fragile; however, the wine deftly hides its power within the soft folds of its slender, mid-weight mouthfeel. This is a perfect go-to Barolo when you can't choose from all the excellent options in this benchmark 2016 vintage. Robert Parker Rating 95+.
