True to its Oakville pedigree, the 2018 CRU Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is blue and black fruit driven on the nose, alive with rich blackberries, firm plums and plump, ripe figs. The palate opens smoothly and quickly fills out with round supple tannins while notes of graphite, pencil shavings and cassis lend themselves to a rich and concentrated mouthfeel. This full bodied, expressive Oakville Cabernet ends with a slightly hedonistic, incredibly generous finish. 94 points Jeb Dunnuck.

The expressive 2018 CEANDA St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon’s bouquet opens elegantly with perfumed wild blackberries, violets and a dusting of cardamom and anise. The entry is full and offers pencil lead, cassis and black currants. Impeccably integrated oak allows the fruit to shine on the palate while lending sinuous structure and weight. Chewy tannins and velvety texture lead way to a supple, juicy finish. CEANDA, a polished blend of our three estate vineyards, is structured to be enjoyed upon release or age gracefully for 15–20 years. 95 points Jeb Dunnuck, 93 points Robert Parker.

Expressive and powerful, the 2018 Aida Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Aromas of ripe black currants, wild blackberries, sweet chocolate, with hints of spice and minerality lead way to a tremendously rich and juicy entry, beautiful balance and a firm, ripe tannin profile. Intensely concentrated red and black fruits are complimented by the signature crushed rock and earth-driven characters that Aida is known for. Nuances of anise, violets and pencil shavings contribute to the complexity of this special wine. The powerful, super-expressive Aida Estate Cabernet will undoubtedly age for well over two decades. 97 points Robert Parker, 97 points Vinous, 97 points Jeb Dunnuck

Black cassis, violet, classic dark chocolate with hints of spearmint and sweet cocoa. A combination of blocks 3, 4, South 6, South 7, and South 8, the 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon represents the relatively earlier ripening blocks from the estate. The later ripening blocks 1 and 2 were unfortunately not harvested prior to the October 8th wildfires, and did not make it into the blend. The resulting wine is a bit more tightly wound than previous vintages, and will only improve with time and age. But true to this tremendous vineyard, this wine is concentrated and polished with rich velvety texture. It’s classic firm tannin profile provides structure and endless aging potential. 95 points Jeb Dunnuck.

The 2018 Aida Estate Zinfandel is a blend of 88% Zinfandel and 12% Petite Sirah sourced from two small blocks on the Aida Estate. Exciting, lifted aromatics of plums, currants, white pepper and tobacco jump from the glass leading to a juicy, fruit- forward entry, medium-full body and a long, mouthwatering finish. The Petite Sirah brings intense color, fresh blueberry cobbler, firm structure and natural acidity to the blend while the Zinfandel maintains its varietal characteristics of brambly blackberry, white flowers and raspberry preserves. The tannin profile is chewy and the finish is racy and savory with a firm acid backbone, a perfect combination to be enjoyed with grilled meats. This lovely expression of Zinfandel is gorgeous upon release and will age gracefully for well over 15 years. 92 points Robert Parker, 91 points Jeb Dunnuck.
